Invisible String: The Taylor Swift Project

Produced by IMRAM Irish Language Literature Festival.

Invisible Wire is a very special show in which a selection of songs from the highly acclaimed songstress, Taylor Swift, will be performed in Irish! One of the greatest of our contemporary poets, Gabriel Rosenstock, provided the Irish versions of the songs and they will be sung by the soulful singer, Róisín Seoighe X IMLÉ. This is an beautiful, imaginative, performance  that will be accompanied by images from the artist, Margaret Lonergan.

Networking Session

The networking session will begin at 18:30, an hour and a half before the show, in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire.

RÓISÍN SEOIGHE

This is not the first time for the talented singer from Connemara, Róisín Seoighe, to perform with the IMLÉ collective! She is a music composer herself and performs a diverse range of genres, including pop, sean-nós singing, folk and traditional music. And she is an excellent sean-nós dancer too!

IMLÉ

This is an eclectic collective that has achieved considerable fame, in Ireland and abroad, due to the fresh, dynamic, style conceived  by musician and producer, Cian MacCarthy. This group is uniformly talented in many different musical styles and artforms. The musician, Neil Ó Briain, will join them for this particular show. We are really looking forward to it. 

WILD SWIMMING - WHATSAPP GROUPS

A significant number of members declared an interest in Wild Swimming and, as we keep repeating, our mission is to facilitate our members. 

Unfortunately, after many hours of deliberation and soul-searching, we realised we are not in possession of the valiant,  adventurous, qualities of many of our members.

We are, however, are happy to assist with setting up Wild Swimming WhatsApp Groups and we need leaders to step up!

Please let us know if you are interested in setting up a Wild Swimming WhatsApp Group and we will connect you with members in your area who are interested in Wild Swimming (while adhering to GDPR regulations of course).
